What is HumanPass​

HumanPass is a cross-chain human identity and reputation framework that transforms verified personhood into portable digital credentials. Built on World Chain's Proof of Personhood — a robust integration of biometric verification and cryptographic proofs — HumanPass enables users and applications to prove human uniqueness across multiple blockchain environments without compromising privacy or requiring redundant verification.

Through HumanPass, individuals can establish and leverage their verified human status across a wide range of applications, including:

  • Cross-chain identity verification (EVM chains currently supported, Solana coming soon)
  • DAO governance (one-human-one-vote or hybrid voting models)
  • Fair asset distribution (Sybil-resistant airdrops and rewards)

All verifications are secured through non-transferable Soulbound Tokens (SBTs) that permanently bind proof of personhood to user wallets. These tokens enable a broad spectrum of use cases spanning DAOs, DeFi, NFTs, gaming, metaverse applications, and beyond.

Human Tap is the official Mini App for HumanPass, developed by Human Labs for the World App ecosystem. With over 519,000 users, Human Tap provides:

  • Daily rewards for verified humans on World Chain
  • Point accumulation through daily tapping and verification
  • Boosters to increase earning potential
  • Friend invitations to share rewards and grow the community
  • Upgrade options using points or WLD to enhance your experience

Human Tap serves as the primary interface for managing your HumanPass identity, connecting social accounts, and earning Human Points that contribute to your reputation score.

Public vs. Private Identity​

HumanPass is designed to bridge the gap between public blockchain verification and private, user-controlled identity:

  • Public Verification: On-chain SBTs provide publicly verifiable proof of your human status without revealing personal information.
  • Private Identity: Your World ID verification and personal details remain private, with only cryptographic proofs shared across chains.
