🧭 User Guidelines

This guide provides step-by-step instructions for setting up and using HumanPass. For conceptual information, see the Introduction and Technical Overview.

Setup Process​

Step 1: World Mini App Setup​

  1. Install the World App

  2. Access HumanPass Mini App

    • Open World App
    • Tap "Mini Apps" at the bottom
    • Search for "HumanPass"
    • Tap to open

  3. Complete World ID Verification

    • If not already verified, complete World ID verification
    • Higher verification levels (Orb > Document > Device) provide more Human Points

Step 2: Web Portal Connection​

  1. Access the Web Portal

  2. Link Your World ID

    • Enter your World ID
    • Check your World App for the authentication request
    • Approve the request in the Mini App

  3. Connect Your Wallet

    • Click "Connect Wallet" in the dashboard
    • Select your wallet provider (MetaMask, WalletConnect, etc.)
    • Sign the verification message when prompted
    • Wait for SBT minting confirmation (~15-30 seconds)

Step 3: Social Account Verification​

  1. Open Social Verification

    • In the World Mini App, tap "Connect Social"
    • Choose Twitter/X or Telegram

  2. Complete Verification

    • Follow the OAuth flow to authorize the connection
    • No personal data or messages are accessed
    • Return to the Mini App to confirm successful connection

Using Your HumanPass​

Dashboard Navigation​

The web portal dashboard provides access to all HumanPass features:

  • Verification Status: View your current verification level
  • Human Points: Track your accumulated points
  • Connected Wallets: Manage your linked wallets
  • Verification History: Review your verification activities

Connecting to dApps​

When using HumanPass-integrated applications:

  1. Visit the dApp website or platform
  2. Look for "Connect with HumanPass" or "Verify with HumanPass" option
  3. Select your verified wallet when prompted
  4. The dApp will automatically verify your human status
  5. Access humans-only features without additional verification

Managing Multiple Wallets​

To connect additional wallets:

  1. Log in to the web portal
  2. Click "Connect Wallet"
  3. Select your wallet provider
  4. Sign the verification message
  5. A new SBT will be minted to this wallet

Each wallet receives its own SBT, but all are linked to your single HumanPass identity

Troubleshooting​

Common Issues​

Authentication request not appearingEnsure World App notifications are enabled and the app is updated to the latest version
Wallet connection errorTry using a different browser or clearing your cache
SBT minting failedCheck your wallet has sufficient gas and try again
Social verification stuckClose and reopen the Mini App, then try again

Browser Compatibility​

HumanPass web portal works best with:

  • Chrome 80+
  • Firefox 75+
  • Safari 14+
  • Edge 80+

Mobile browsers with wallet extensions are supported but desktop provides the best experience.
